Spirotetramat (Movento®) - the first phloem-mobile insecticide
Movento® is a new, systemic insecticide, the first that plants can transport in their phloem. Movento is distributed in the whole plant and therefore shows excellent efficacy against species that are e.g. hidden under leafs and difficult to control, e.g. woolly apple aphids and insecticide-resistant cotton whiteflies. When applied foliarly Movento even protects the roots from aphid attack.
Pyrasulfotole - a new pyrazole herbicide with three-fold action against broadleaved weeds
Pyrasulfotole is a new pyrazole herbicide with a mode of action that is new to the cereal herbicide market. The compound has a three-fold action against broadleaved weeds. It simultaneously cuts off three crucial life processes in weeds: plastoquinone biosynthesis, tocopherol biosynthesis and carotenoid biosynthesis, resulting in the bleaching of weed plants.
