Small-scale Farmers
Small-scale farmers help to safeguard the world’s food supply
The main challenge, however, is nit the availability of suitable products but the access to information (market, prices or growing methods). Solutions also have to be found to finance these resources and their storage and transport. Bayer CropScience is therefore participating in numerous projects, in some cases together with partners (e.g. Food Chain Partnerships1) to improve the situation for small-scale farmers. In addition to its products, the company is also contributing its know-how to the problem.
Below are some examples of Bayer CropScience’s contribution:

| MCX - Direct access to market information for Indian farmers » more | ||
| Small Loan Program - Investing with affordable money » more | ||
