Human rights
Defending the internationally chartered human rights is as central a part of Bayer’s corporate policy as that of Bayer CropScience. Bayer is one of the founding members of “Global Compact”, an initiative founded by the United Nations. It is one of only eight German and approximately 50 worldwide companies.
The objective of Global Compact is to advance ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labor and the environment. The company supports a range of projects that promote the objectives of Global Compact with this aim in mind.
Furthermore, we adhere to the “OECD Principles for Multinational Corporations” as well as the “Tripartite Declaration of Principles concerning Multinational Enterprises and Social Policy” of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
